1964. A small radio playing She Loves You by The Beatles. Hearing that music was all it took to capture his imagination. That very moment sparked a life-long love of music for Larry Hess.
After earning degrees in music education and performance, Larry Hess embarked on a musical journey working as a music educator, a 30+ year career with multiple symphony orchestras, and as a pit musician for numerous musical theatre productions.
Jazz, classical, rock or pop, Larry Hess has played it all. He has performed with such artists as Rita Moreno, the Fifth Dimension, Arthur Fiedler, the Crickets, Glen Campbell, Doc Severinsen, Tony Bennett, Michael Martin Murphy, Itzhak Perlman, Roger Williams, and more. Oh, and Bob Hope!
Mr. Hess is in demand as a speaker on popular music history, the soundtrack of your life!
